👀 For When You Don’t Know What to Say (But Still Want Credit for Caring)

You want to send a card. You even bought the card. But now it’s sitting on your desk, judging you with its empty inside like a sad little soul bucket. What do you write in it?

Listen, nobody expects a novel. (Unless you’re writing to your therapist. Then go wild.) All you need is 1–2 sentences of genuine-ish emotion. Example:

  • “Thinking of you and your weird dog.”

  • “You’re doing amazing sweetie, and if not, fake it till you nap.”

  • “Here’s a card so you remember I exist.”

Or hey—leave it blank and just sign your name with dramatic flair. Bonus points if your handwriting looks like you studied calligraphy under a full moon. Even if it doesn’t, it’s the gesture that counts.

Pro tip: Write the card immediately after buying it. Before it joins that stack of Things You Swear You’ll Deal With Tomorrow (RIP to the gym bag, the plant, and that one Amazon return).
